For those of you who caught us on Good Morning AZ this morning (Sunday Dec 27), here are a few of the make-up tips you saw featured.

Holiday Makeup:

Shimmer: We are seeing some old classic looks being used with a little shimmer added to the face for an up to date twist. Pick one or two places on the face so as to not over do it

Makeup for an at home or office event:

Smokey eye with a pale lip: You can use purples, blues, grays or browns to obtain this look. For example you could put a charcoal grey with shimmer, line with black liner and two coats of mascara.

Pale lips look better with a bit of shine so use gloss. Mac Cosmetics makes a great gloss to achieve this look called Prrrr Lipglass

Makeup for an outdoor event:

Warm up the complexion with bronzes, peaches and gold tones. Gold works well with any complexion and eye color. Paula Dorff makes a great gold eye shadow called Gold Digger. Perfect for this look.

Makeup for red carpet or dressy event:

Red lips!!! Rimmel of New York makes a great red of everyone called Dynamite and Red Hot.

Natural Skin – keep all other makeup fresh and light.
Also you can do a smokey eye and a bold lip. Soo Fun!!!
